The Carville Floor Plan

Assisted living apartment

Carville apartments feature a spacious bedroom, sitting area, kitchenette plus a full bath and walk-in closet.

When the Great Chicago Fire struck in 1871, all the Sisters of Mercy of the Americas took refuge in Carville, a small town just south of the city. What was once Carville is today the intersection of 26th Street and South Michigan Avenue, the site of Mercy Hospital.

For the Sisters, Carville represented a much-needed place of sanctuary and renewal. The skilled staff and restful setting of the Carville apartments at Mercy Circle provide assisted living residents a new environment in which they’ll feel supported and revitalized.
