Your contribution makes it possible for Mercy Circle to augment our programs and to make the most of advances in healthcare that promote the well-being of older adults. Our community’s mission is to help residents thrive with dignity, independence and grace.  Every donation makes a meaningful difference in the lives of the seniors who rely on us.

Mercy Circle is a vibrant, faith-based senior living community on Chicago’s Southwest Side. Sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy of the Americas, we welcome people of all faiths, while hosting Catholic Mass and other religious programs that nurture the spiritual health of the entire community.

We offer a compassionate, person-centered approach to care without requiring an entrance fee. Our nationally recognized rehab program has been ranked among the nation’s finest high-performing programs by U.S. News and World Report since 2021.

Your generosity allows us to expand the programs and strengthen the services that support daily living. Every contribution makes a meaningful difference in the lives of the seniors who rely on us.

One of the many ways Mercy Circle makes all the difference

Nancy (not her real name) is a Mercy Circle resident who moved to Chicago from a southern state to be closer to her son. She had recently lost her husband of 50 years, and she feared the loneliness that often follows the death of a spouse.

But as her neighbors in Mercy Circle’s independent living community invited her to meals and game nights, and attentive staff members supported her with compassion and encouragement, she soon discovered a close-knit community where she no longer felt alone. Nancy often says that Mercy Circle gave her a new beginning at a time when she needed it most. At Mercy Circle, she found comfort, friendship and renewed purpose.

Nancy’s story reflects the experiences of many residents at Mercy Circle.
